June 25th, 2010: Tomorrow night is LIGHTSHIP night. Friends and I are going in the countryside to spend some time sharing views and communicating with "ET". Though the atmosphere will be fun, we're definitely treating it seriously. A sacred fire, some offerings of tobacco, sharing with friends, and some looking to the skies for inspiration and hopefully. Contact and communion. Perhaps the answers will come in dreams, perhaps on the same evening. Who knows? Wish us well...

June 23rd, 2010: Earthquake! rather...aftershocks, most likely. Val des Bois, a town about 30 miles north of Ottawa, Ontario in Canada, felt a 5.5 quake today. The tremors were felt all the way to Montreal but aslo here in Quebec City. Wasn't very strong, but you definitely knew something was going on. Anyhow, with the Gulf of Mexico fiasco still on, looks like I'll be gathering up my emergency kit.

May 29th, 2010: Unless people with credibility start coming forward in the Prince Rupert region on the alleged spiral, my point of view is that it probably did not happen. I'm sorry, but there seems to be way too much disinformation here and not much substance at all. It also doesn't help that out of a town of 12,500 people no one wants to come forward.

May 26th, 2010: BREAKING NEWS:

A major cosmological event took place this past Friday. Called "The Canada Spiral", it seems to possess parallels with the Norway Spiral that took place last November 2009 on the same day President Obama gave his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech.

Kevin Martin, a young man in California, has come forward as the hoaxer of this event, saying that he was the one who created the faked video of the event and passed it along to Betty Morgan of Weatherspace.com. Since then, Martin has retracted his hoax statement, saying that he has received threats to himself and his family by unknown visitors to his home. He was told 'not to engage or speak of these matters or harm would come of it'. He has also since declined to speak with the media on the topic.

I have several issues with the "hoax" theory as it relates to Kevin Martin.

1) Since Kevin Martin's retracting of his hoax statement yesterday, two other witnesses are starting to come forward (Steven Murray, the fellow who had the four cameras set up behind his home to catch goings on in the skies, and another witness who grabbed video of the event).

2) If Martin perpetrated a hoax, then he made four versions of the hoax:
a) the first video everyone saw and agreed was most likely fake
b) the video from the airplane
c) the third video that has begun to emerge showing a pin of light trailing a luminous fan
d) the pictures. These pictures were the most believable of the bunch, and appear to show something different altogether. Of particular import is their asymmetrical makeup and the fading trail of light behind the formation - very similar to the Norway Spiral. No one seems to be addressing these pictures, and that's what intrigues me.

Now, most hoaxers are not this thorough. They don't generally go out of their way to generate four versions of their joke. If he created the photos, then he's a Photoshop whiz because even myself having worked extensively with PS for eleven years it would take me a while to create such believable imagery using several layer sets and brushes and filters.

Martin has stated that one reason why he retracted his hoax statement is due to the "visit" he allegedly received by unknown visitors to his home. He said he was threatened to stay away from this topic and not to talk about it any longer.

So, all in all, quite mysterious. I don't necessarily believe it's genuine, but I'll give it a grace period of 72 hours or so before tossing it in the mental trash bin. :)
