KUNDALINI
The term "Kundalini" might sound like a tasty Italian pasta dish, but it isn't. Instead, it comes again from Hinduism. It is an energy residing within your body - usually portrayed as a serpent coiled up at the base of your spinal column. Its basic function is like a caretaker and messenger. It helps in the care and maintenance of your chakras, and it can bring messages back and forth from the spiritworld - like a messenger.
Does the Great Pyramid contain the Kundalini then? Well, not directly. Not at first glance anyhow. To see a Pyramid correlation we have to travel to the heart of the Yucatan peninsula. There, twice a year (on the Spring and Fall Equinoxes, to be precise), hundreds of people gather to witness an extraordinary event that occurs as the Sun shines in a certain way upon the temple of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza: a shadow resembling a snake (i.e. Quetzalcoatl, the feathered or winged serpent god) descends and ascends the temple's three hundred and sixty-four steps.
Exactly. A snake within a pyramid. The Mayans knew. They knew about Kundalini all too well. And if they did, then obviously the Egyptians must have as well...
THE EGYPTIAN CONNECTION.
So where do we find a connection between the ancient
Egyptians and serpents? Everywhere. Look at the forehead
of King Tut and the cobra coming out of his forehead. Though
implied and not directly shown, the rest of the serpent's body
extends back into Tut's body itself - just like Kundalini.
Wadjet, the cobra goddess of lower Egypt, could also be
thought of as representing Kundalini, since she is also a
snake with wings. There are many such examples kicking
around - some even in seemingly unrelated cultures and
stories. Kundalini finds its equivalent in the Garden of Eden,
for instance, as the maligned serpent wrapped around the
tree of knowledge and life. And since Kundalini operates in
close quarters with the chakras, I've often wondered if the
Australian Aboriginal rainbow serpent is the "down under"
version of this sacred energy as well. There are several
variations of Kundalini that can be found in everyday life.
