THREE: CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS
Several cultures throughout history have tried to claim exclusive ownership over the entity or Being known in the Western world as Christ. But a more universal (and less exclusive) way of looking at this entity might be to simply view it as a holy child or spirit that is born from the union between Heaven and Earth - or between the Earth and Sun. This child embraces the Earth and everything within it - meaning all ecosystems, the Earth's elements and minerals, all the animals and plants...and us. In a philosophical sense therefore, we could be literally considered to be a part of Christ's physical body. And contrary to what many would have us believe, Christ isn't exclusive to any one culture, religion, or philosophy. It doesn't even just go by the name "Christ", either. Other names and labels exist for it as well.
The Nazarene was indeed a master teacher, but his mission was also to re-empower us as individuals, to help us remember that in essence, all of us are "Christs" (albeit in more or less amnesic states). Everything that he was and became belongs to us as well. Jesus would have been far happier (and probably would have lived longer too) if we would have concentrated on his teachings and philosophy rather than elevate him to dizzying heights as we have. After all, what good is a teacher if his students never surpass him? Nothing.
This also raises the touchy issue of what happens to each of us as we rebecome in tune with the Christlike power within ourselves, especially with today's highly impressive discoveries and achievements being made.
As we gradually rebecome the gods we once were, it is essential to remember that in this global human journey towards ascension that all of us are at various stages of evolution and development and that we are all moving towards a common destination. We are special and unique, but no better than anyone else. Abbreviations before and after one's name, the amount of personal wealth, our age, previous achievements, and occupation has little to do with enlightenment. As we progress and evolve, we will find our differences becoming far less distinct.
It sounds terribly cliché (not to mention nerdy and immature) to bring sci-fi movies into this, but to date, I've not heard a better description of Christ than the one provided to young Skywalker by the Jedi master Yoda in Star Wars.
As Luke goes through his training to become in tune with himself and the world surrounding him, Yoda explains to him how our body's true nature and makeup is luminous rather than simply made of organic "crude matter". Yoda goes on to explain how "The Force" permeates everything around us and makes an extremely powerful ally (if we choose to align ourselves with it, that is. Many people refuse to believe that this "Force" even exists). Before long, Luke finally "gets it" and leaves Yoda to save his friends.
Alright then, to date we've shown how Pi demonstrates Spirit's journey from the light and going into the female Earth to receive a Christlike awareness. Where does it lead to from here? What's the final step? Where do we as human beings come in?
Pull out the plugs and hang on. You're in for a wild ride as we jump into the human body. On we go to 142857!
